Daryl Morey needs to stop playing around on the TL

Like many other Sixers fans, I was up late last night concerned for Joel Embiid’s health. In our stressed-out state, supporters had no choice but to unite on the Twitter timeline for support in this trying time. One of my fellow night owls was Sixers GM and known internet troll: Daryl Morey.
He often enjoys wildin’ out on the timeline, and last night was no exception. Amid his late-night Twitter escapade, Daryl dropped this cryptic tweet:
Indeed, Daryl Morey tweeted out a clip from the beloved animated Robin Hood movie in which a character proclaims, “One o’clock and all is well!”
I refuse to believe that Daryl Morey would send that tweet out without full knowledge of Joel Embiid’s health. He is far too smart to do that, or at least I think he is.
He understands the rabidity of Philly fans pretty well. If he tweeted this out and it turns out Joel is not 100% okay, I will blame him, as will most of the city. That’s just the way things work, Daryl. It’s nothing personal, I promise.
If I take this solely at face value, it should mean Joel is good to go for Game 5 Wednesday night. If he isn’t, it’ll be Daryl Morey’s head on a pike on Broad St.
Literally as I’m writing this. Essentially as I got to this exact line, my associates at The Liberty Line sleuthed this photo and broke the news.
Still no official word, but this makes it look like Daryl was just playing with us. I don’t know why he feels the need to do this. I’m just glad it looks like Jojo is a-okay.
Daryl Morey really does need to stop this nonsense, though. It’s going to give me an aneurysm, a heart attack, or a mental breakdown. Hopefully not all three.
