76ers reportedly have minimal interest in Collin Sexton, Kevin Love for Ben Simmons

Following the Indiana Pacers, another team can be counted out of the running for Ben Simmons. The Cavaliers have been one of the several teams reported to have an interest in Simmons. Recently, Terry Pluto of Cleveland.com spoke on the rumors surrounding the 76ers point guard. According to Pluto, Daryl Morey and the 76ers would have little interest in an offering surrounding guard Collin Sexton, Kevin Love, and draft picks for Simmons.
This report follows suit with the 76ers declining Malcolm Brogdon and a pick from the Indiana Pacers last week. Daryl Morey wants a star for Ben Simmons and will not settle for less. Overall, the offer isn’t horrible by any means from the Cavaliers, who own the third pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. Sexton averaged 24 PPG for Cleveland this season at just 22 years old, with an extension looming.
Daryl Morey seems to have his eyes set on Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard. Several reports have indicated that he is Morey’s top priority until he is no longer available. Other offers are likely to come in the near future with teams like Sacramento, and others likely to inquire on Simmons.
