JT Realmuto will start behind the plate for the National League tomorrow

Philadelphia Phillies catcher JT Realmuto will start behind the plate for the National League All-Star team tomorrow night. He will bat seventh in a stacked National League lineup.

You would think that after Jacob deGrom decided to skip this year’s Midsummer Classic to focus on the second half of the season, that the next choice for the NL starter would have been none other than Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Zack Wheeler.
