Phillies roster moves ahead of tonight’s game against the Atlanta Braves

The Philadelphia Phillies have reinstated Alec Bohm from the COVID-19 Injured List. Bohm tested positive for COVID-19 on July 19th and has been left off the roster ever since. The Phillies also mentioned that Bohm was asymptomatic. Bailey Falter and J.D. Hammer remain on the COVID-19 list. In a corresponding move, Mauricio Llovera has been optioned back to Triple A Lehigh Valley.

Bohm had a rough start to his sophomore season but was playing better before hitting the COVID-19 Injured List. Over his last 23 at-bats, Bohm was slashing .304/.429/.609 with two home runs and six RBI.

The Phillies have lost three straight games. They are back in action tonight against the Atlanta Braves at Citizens Bank Park. Zack Wheeler is on the mound as he and the Phillies hope to get back to .500 yet again. They are currently four games behind the NL East leading New York Mets.

unfiltered, opinionated, and certainly do not care if you like it or not.
