76ers reportedly haven’t been able to get in touch with Ben Simmons this offseason

The 76ers could have an issue on their hand. Recently, Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer appeared on a Vox Media Podcast and discussed the rumors surrounding Ben Simmons. When regarding working on developing his game, this is what Fischer had to say.
“They haven’t really been able to get in touch with Ben since the season ended. There’s an intent to have a workout plan like in any offseason, and that’s always been the case. That the Sixers align with a development plan.”
If this report is, in fact, true, I seriously doubt that Ben Simmons will ever really be willing to develop his game. After that performance during the postseason, he is seriously hiding at Wimbledon and refusing to talk with the 76ers? Even if his mindset will change or not, every report is indicating that Ben won’t play another game for the 76ers.
This incident wouldn’t be the first time that Ben and his camp placed their anger on the 76ers instead of bettering themselves. A few weeks ago, Ben Simmons’ brother/shooting coach liked tweets criticizing Doc and Joel for throwing Ben under the bus when they held him accountable.
Fischer himself reported last week that Bradley Beal could be on his way out of Washington and listed the 76ers as one of the teams he’d welcome joining. For Ben, Adrian Wojnarowski reported yesterday that trade talks for Simmons are expected to get serious this week with the 2021 NBA Draft on Thursday.
Update: According to Kyle Neubeck, Team sources denied reporting Monday claiming the Sixers have been unable to get in touch with Ben Simmons, saying both sides spoke as recently as his birthday
