Union finalizing deal for 2 players from South American leagues

The Philadelphia Union are grabbing some mid-season upgrades. According to Tom Bogert, the Union are finalizing two deals with Deportivo Lara and Corinthians for forward Matheus Davo and midfielder Jesus Bueno. Both will be joining the club this season, while Davo is just on loan for this season. Bueno will be a permanent signing.
During his time with Corinthians this season, Matheus has three goals and two assists. Meanwhile Bueno was the captain for Deportivo Lara and played 76 games for them. For Philadelphia, they are getting some much-needed depth in the midfield and attack to make a push in the Eastern Conference.
Currently, the Union are in fourth place in the East, just two points out of second place, with five teams within three points of second place. Philly returns to action on Sunday when they host the Chicago Fire.
