3 Eagles placed on Reserve/COVID-19 list during first day of training camp

While the Eagles’ first practice of training camp went well this morning, not everything was perfect.  This morning, Philadelphia announced that Alex Singleton, Andrew Adams, and Matt Leo would be headed to the Reserve/COVID-19 list. It’s not known if they tested positive or what the situation is for those three, but several more Eagles could not suit up for practice due to non-COVID issues.

Landon Dickerson, Rodney McLeod, Isaac Seumalo, Greg Ward, and Quez Watkins were the notable absences from practice this morning, while Jalen Reagor sat out initially but joined the team after warmups. Dickerson and McLeod were expected, both recovering from ACL tears. Quez Watkins still needs to complete his physical and Ward has a non-COVID illness.

While Seumalo was out with a hamstring injury, Nate Herbig filled in at left guard, and K’Von Wallace saw some more reps at safety. For the COVID list, hopefully, it won’t be a significant issue for the Eagles this season. Nick Sirianni and Howie Roseman said the roster is over 90% vaccinated. Hopefully, everyone who was injured or out with COVID will be able to make a speedy recovery.
