76ers massive trade proposal shut down by Golden State Warriors

One more massive offer the 76ers proposed for Ben Simmons has leaked just hours before the 2021 NBA Draft. According to Keith Pompey, the Sixers asked for Andrew Wiggins, James Wiseman, the 7th and 14th picks in tonight’s draft, and two future firsts. Golden State declined the offer, and since then, they’re no longer in the running.Â
Some of the offers Philly has floated for Ben include seven first-round picks, and a player from the Spurs, Kyle Lowry, Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby, and the 4th pick from Toronto, and every young player on the Cleveland Cavaliers plus draft picks.Â
Daryl Morey has set the price high for the 76ers All-Star, and a deal seems bound to happen sometime this summer. Adrian Wojnarowski reported a draft-day deal could happen, and Jason Dumas said the 76ers hope to find a possible deal tonight but won’t lower their asking price.Â
Currently, the 76ers own the 28th pick in tonight’s draft alongside the 50th and 53rd pick, which they acquired from the New Orleans Pelicans for $2 million. Tonight’s NBA Draft could be a wild ride for Philly fans, starting at 8:00.
