Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith dominate jersey sales after week one win vs Falcons

It looks like the Eagles fan base is all in on Jalen Hurts following Philly’s blowout win against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. According to Fanatics, the sporting goods monopoly, Jalen Hurts, was the number two selling jersey on the site on Sunday. Alongside that, Hurts’ sales went up 500%, the largest one-day spike this week.
Jalen Hurts was phenomenal on Sunday, looking poised in the pocket while being incredibly accurate, throwing 27/35 for over 260 yards and three touchdowns. Alongside his dominant performance, I’m sure the change from 2 to 1 also helped with those sales.
Teammate and rookie WR DeVonta Smith had the highest sales for a non-QB rookie jersey post week one, according to Fanatics. Smith had six receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown in his NFL debut.
Personally, following Nike’s price spike of the replica jerseys to $120, I recommend going to DH Gate and getting yourself a whole set of Hurts’ jerseys for $20 each. Following Sunday’s win, the Eagles are now preparing for their home opener against the San Francisco 49ers.
