Lane Johnson back at Eagles practice after missing Sunday’s game against Kansas City

After losing him on Sunday, it looks like Lane Johnson is ready to go this week. According to John Clark, Johnson is arriving in Philadelphia this morning and will be at NovaCare for practice. Johnson missed last week’s game against Kansas City due to undisclosed personal reasons.

Hopefully, whatever was going on has been resolved, and everything is well, but it will be a significant boost to the Eagles’ offensive line to have Lane Johnson back. In his absence, Philadelphia started backup Jack Driscoll at right tackle, which he had done for Johnson on numerous occasions last season.

Alongside Johnson, Jordan Mailata will likely be back this week after suffering an MCL Sprain before their matchup against Dallas. With these two playing, Landon Dickerson will remain at left guard, and Jack Driscoll should slide back in to right guard. Driscoll was planned to start at guard on Sunday before Johnson was listed as inactive.

Update:

According to Nick Sirianni, despite reports Lane Johnson was returning today, the Eagles right tackle is still not at the facility today.
