76ers return home, host Raptors for second preseason matchup

After dropping their first preseason game in Toronto, the Philadelphia 76ers fly home to host the Raptors for their second preseason bout tonight. Luckily for Philly fans, tonight’s game will be on NBC Philadelphia after being left without a broadcast for Monday’s game. Tonight will be more of the same for the 76ers, with rotation guys likely seeing even more time.
One significant change for this matchup is that Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris will likely make their preseason debuts. Embiid missed Monday’s game due to rest, while Tobias Harris was held out after hurting his knee in practice. Everyone will be good to go outside Grant Riller, who unfortunately tore his meniscus the other day.
Andre Drummond and Isaiah Joe had excellent performances in extended time in their first game and hopefully, the two can capitalize on that once again. Matisse Thybulle, Shake Milton, and Furkan Korkamz should also use this game to break out of their shooting slump and find their rhythm before the regular season.
For the Raptors, their rotation will likely remain the same also, but you maybe could see Scottie Barnes getting some extra minutes and the first start from Pascal Siakam, who sat out their last matchup. It’ll be a fun one for Sixers fans. Their first look at the 2021/2022 76ers in person or on television alongside the broadcasting debut of Kate Scott.
