F*** Ben Simmons Chants at AEW Philly

Last night AEW was in Philadelphia at the Liacouras Center on Temple’s campus. Any time wrestling is on, my timeline turns into a nightmare. Typical sports accounts start tweeting out random wrestling names and I literally fall for it every time, trying to look up what athlete they are talking about and what game that I missed betting on is happening. Turns out, it’s always wrestling. 

As always The Liberty Line had boots on the ground. Steven Conrad Jr was in attendance and grabbed a nice video of the action last night.

Yes, the chant was “Fuck Ben Simmons” in the middle of a wrestling match. Ben Simmons hasn’t even stepped foot back in the city since he ran away like a baby after the playoffs last year. I can’t even begin to imagine what fans will be chanting when Simmons actually takes the court again, whether that be a member of the 76ers (unlikely) or with an opposing team.

Seeing how Ben Simmons and Klutch Sports continue to mismanage this entire situation, there’s also a possibility that Ben Simmons doesn’t play for the 76ers and purposely skips every game in Philadelphia for the rest of his career. 

In the meantime, enjoy the chants, sit back and relax, and find peace in the fact that the 76ers are not paying Ben Simmons and heavily fining him every day he doesn’t report back to the team.
