A tough blow to the Eagles ahead of their Thursday night matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Just now, the Eagles announced that they had placed Dallas Goedert on the COVID-19 Reserve list. Even if Goedert is vaccinated and goes through a speedy process, it’s doubtful he plays this week.

Zach Ertz tested positive even though he was vaccinated a week before the Eagles played Dallas on Monday night Football. Ertz did play, but he only was cleared just before the game. Dallas Goedert had a great showing against Carolina and looked to be getting more targets. He only had two receptions but should have had a touchdown if he didn’t drop the pass.

Alongside Goedert, Lane Johnson is likely going to miss this week’s game also. Derek Barnett missed yesterday’s practice, but he should be good to go alongside Landon Dickerson, who is dealing with an ankle injury.
