Bryson Stott Can’t Stop Hitting: The #1 Phillies Prospect Continues to Take Over the Arizona Fall League

Bryson Stott is the #1 Phillies position player prospect, and the #2 overall prospect in the whole Phillies organization. While the Phillies sit at home once again in October, Bryson Stott continues to keep all eyes on him. The 24-year-old is putting on a show in the Arizona Fall League, giving Phillies fans hope for the future.
Bryson Stott is part of the Peoria Javelinas for the fall league and is the standout player so far for the team. He tallied four more hits in yesterday’s game, bringing his splits up to .424/.535/.636, good for an OPS of 1.171 with a 9 game hit streak. His four hits were two singles, a double, and a triple, finishing 4-6 on the day.
Bryson Stott started in High A at the beginning of the season but found his way all the way up to Triple-A by the time the season was done. He hit some road bumps along the way at the plate, but focused on his approach at the plate and just putting the ball in play.
Stott hit .299/.390/.486 over his full season in the Phils minors, with 10 steals and 16 HRs. Stott took home the Paul Owens Award a little over a month ago, for his dominant play throughout the minor leagues in the 2021 season. Now in the fall league, Stott doesn’t plan to stop anytime soon.
Here’s another video of Bryson Stott crushing a baseball yesterday, because this kid RAKES.
If Bryson Stott continues to play like this, don’t rule out seeing him on the Opening Day roster for the 2022 season. If I had to predict right now, I would say he is most likely still going to need a little more time, just because I want to see him succeed. The Phillies would be stupid for rushing him up to the majors after failing on many prospects in the past.
I mean cmon, even our MVP is watching this kid tear it up in October. “Kid rakes” says Bryce Harper, and he isn’t lying.

The worst matchup in World Series history is currently underway, with the Braves taking game one in Houston last night. Once the Fall Classic is over, everything will start to come up quickly for the Phillies. Free agency, awards, winter meetings, and more are all coming.
