BeNFT Update: Jonah Bolden recruited Ben Simmons to the world of Gutter Cats and Dogs

First of all, I would like to start off by simply saying “Gang Gang.” The entire Gutter Dog and Cat community has welcomed me with open arms since The Liberty Line stumbled across a profile picture update on Instagram from Ben Simmons. People are sending me pictures of their Gutter Cats and Dogs with text saying “Gang Gang” and I absolutely love it. I have no idea what it means, but I love it. Last night, we wrote an article about Ben Simmons and his new NFT profile picture. You can read the full article here.
As I finally stopped exploring the world of NFTs late last night, it appears something slid by me in my ongoing investigation of Ben Simmons and the NFT world and how it might relate to the NFT fandom that both Tobias Harris and Daryl Morey display on Twitter in their profile pictures.
Jack Connell, who has been my right hand man throughout this investigation brought a tweet from none other than Jonah Bolden to my attention early this morning. It looks like he was the one who recruited Ben Simmons into the world of Gutter Cats and Dogs, and not the 76ers, along with Tobias Harris and Daryl Morey. Is it possible that we overreacted last night? Well, maybe.
What is still unclear is if Jonah Bolden is simply welcoming Ben Simmons to the gang, or if he actually was the one who got in touch with Ben Simmons and set him up to purchase a Gutter Dog. Like Simmons, Bolden is an Australian native, so it’s definitely possible that the two still talk with each other and have remained friends over the years.
What we all hoped for was that Simmons bonding over NFTs with Morey, Harris, and the rest of the 76ers was a sign of good things to come. Now that theory got a little messy with our old friend Jonah Bolden stepping in. Maybe that connection with the team isn’t progressing to new levels as we originally thought?
Also, I don’t understand why Sixers fans are mad over the NFT things. Why do you care if our basketball team in this city enjoys NFTs and Crypto? Is it because you don’t understand any of it? If that’s the case, join the club. I don’t care what anyone on the 76ers does with their spare time. Joel Embiid likes video games. Tobias Harris and Daryl Morey like Crypto and NFTs. Ben likes both. Matisse is a vlogger. None of that matters, lets just win some basketball games.
I also find it troubling that this guy Dennis Chambers from CBS Sports on Twitter with one of these fancy checkmarks told me to go outside and touch grass? What does that mean. He sent the tweet late last night too. That’s odd behavior, especially from someone who works at CBS Sports and has a blue check mark. Maybe when you have a check mark and under 2,000 followers you’re still allowed to be a total weirdo online. Whatever.

Regardless of the grass touching dude, I absolutely love the Gutter Dog and Cat community and welcome them with open arms. They are the true real ones in all of this. Keep sending me your NFT pictures and I’ll gladly share and respond with GANG GANG on every single one of them. They even have a discord too which this lovely Gutter Cat shared with me on Twitter.
The Ben Simmons saga never ends but I’m stoked he found a community that has embraced him. Get that mental right, Benny, we have basketball games to win. The Sixers will play the Detroit Pistons tonight at home. I will be in attendance.
Gang Gang.
