Eagles to debut new uniform set on Sunday against Broncos

We have brand new uniforms from the Philadelphia Eagles. No, it’s not the Kelly Green uniforms that everyone is constantly wanting to bring back every year. Instead, the Eagles will be wearing black pants with their white jerseys on the road this weekend against the Denver Broncos. It will be the first time ever wearing this color combination in franchise history.

You’re right, Eagles. We were NOT expecting this at all. The birds introduced black pants in 2014 after Nike introduced the color rush uniforms. Before that, the Eagles wore white pants with black jerseys. We have seen all black over the years and the “black out” games at the Linc were always pretty cool, but like I said, this combo is brand new.

The last time we saw the all-black uniforms was in 2017 against the Broncos at home, when Philly scored 51 points to move to 8-1 on the season. Philadelphia desperately needs a win to stay alive in the playoff hunt, and the blackout look has always done the trick. With the one shell rule changing in the future, this could be the last season we see the black uniforms for quite some time.

Hit me up on Twitter and tell me why you love or hate the new uniform combination. Don’t be weird. >>
