76ers City Jerseys sell out immediately, aren’t expected to return until mid-January

The Philadelphia 76ers finally dropped their City Edition uniforms and merchandise today. With the heavy anticipation across the basketball world, the availability of the products seems to be a major issue.
On the Dicks Sporting Goods website, you can order Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris, and Ben Simmons jerseys but as of 2PM today, they are listed as Pre-Order Products that won’t be available to ship until after Sunday, January 9th?
To make things even worse, in the NBA Store/Fanatics, they only have Ben Simmons jerseys available. As of now, there’s no other 76ers’ City Edition jersey listed on the website besides Ben Simmons, which is still listed as a “Top Seller” for $129.99.
The entire thing seems like a troll job, but hopefully they’re just in the process of updating the website and/or trying to secure inventory. Supply chains are completely screwed up at the moment so I wouldn’t be shocked if these websites are being extra cautious with what they are offering, even more so before the holiday season. Fanatics is also owned by minority 76ers owner, Michael Rubin.
This is going to be problematic since we currently have this giveaway happening but there’s literally nothing we can do. Just might have to wait until early 2022 to get a Joel Embiid 76ers City Edition jersey ordered.
Still time to jump in that contest, just follow the directions on the tweet and we’ll announce the winner around 3PM today.
Next up we have DeVonta Smith and Bryce Harper jerseys coming. Make sure to follow us on all social media platforms and we’ll keep dishing things out to anyone who supports us.
Stay tuned for jersey updates. As of now, it’s not looking very easy to get your hands on them. Best bet would be to call your local stores and hope for the best.
Update:
If you’re looking for more options, the European NBA Store does have some more City Edition options. They have Tyrese Maxey alongside Custom options, but are out of stock until December 7th. However, it’ll cost you an egregious $176 total when it’s all said and done to get the jerseys, so you’re better off just waiting.

Not shocked at all these sold out super fast. I DO think Sixers dropped the ball (no pun intended) with a limited choice of designs though. I was expecting more, a hoodie with the Sixers retro type across the chest (not “76” and mini retro Sixers below it). 1/4 zip fleece also that Doc was wearing last week. Maybe these, lot more will come out in Jan 2022.
