DeVonta Smith considered best WR in NFL, according to PFF

DeVonta Smith has really come into his own these last several weeks, especially during yesterday’s victory over the Denver Broncos. Smith had two touchdowns on four receptions and continues to look better with each week. His route running is absolutely phenomenal and looks like an NFL veteran with how crisp it already is.
The entire league has taken notice of the 10th overall pick, and he’s been arguably the best wideout in football the last few games. According to PFF, Smith is the highest graded receiver since their loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. Smith grades out at 87.7 on offense, with the next best (minimum 50% snaps) being Stefon Diggs at 84.1.
Following Smith, the next closest rookie was Jaylen Waddle in 7th, with a grade of 79.1. Throughout the entire season, Smith ranks the highest out of him, Waddle, and Ja’Marr Chase with a 77.9.
At this pace, it’s clear that DeVonta Smith will shatter the 1,000-yard mark for the season and easily be the best rookie wideout in Eagles’ history. The Eagles face the New Orleans Saints this upcoming week, who have the best rush defense in football, so it’s likely DeVonta Smith is targeted significantly once again.
