You know Jalen Reagor is bad when JJAW is playing better

Post watching the Eagles victory over the Saints, all I have to say right now is that I’m growing tired of watching Jalen Reagor return kicks and punts, and that’s saying it lightly. Can we PLEASE put ANYONE else back there? (Hi Quez😉). Reagor continues to be frustrating to watch, no matter if it’s on special teams or on offense.
Let’s take a quick look at some stats of Reagor’s over the past four games.
- 1 catch, 0 yards
- 1 catch, -6 yards
- 2 catches, 12 yards
- 1 catch, -1 yard
Seriously? I don’t know how much more of it I can take. To make matters worse, the Eagles even had JJAW contribute today. On second and long with six minutes left in the game, JJAW hauled in a 23 yard reception from Jalen Hurts. Do the math, that’s more yardage than Jalen Reagor has gotten over his past four games.
Add that catch with the always terrific blocking from JJAW throughout today’s game. Highlighted by this one to spring DeVonta Smith and give the Eagles first and goal.
Reagor’s decisions today were questionable at best on special teams, and almost costly. All I’m saying is the stats don’t lie. JJAW passes the eye test and now the stats on paper. I don’t even think it’s crazy to say that he’s better than Jalen Reagor at this point. Debate a wall.
Thank you Howie Roseman for another bust. You truly have an eye for underdog draft picks. Meanwhile, Justin Jefferson had eight receptions for 169 yards and two touchdowns today in the Viking’s 34-31 win over the Green Bay Packers. Lovely.
[…] his picks on draft day. It questions Roseman’s ability to evaluate talent and references the JJ Arcega-Whiteside selection over DK Metcalf. It continues on to say that the Jalen Reagor pick was terrible, […]
