Roll call: Where the Jalen Hurts haters at?

It’s got to be a rough time for the Jalen Hurts haters.
I’m doing a roll call right now. What could you possibly have to say about the Eagles quarterback? Hurts has been the best quarterback in the NFL over the last five weeks; according to everyone’s favorite statistic.
“He can’t throw”, “he doesn’t have Mahomes arm talent”, blah blah blah; shoutout Rich Homie Quan. Hurts has the heart and intensity it takes to play quarterback in Philadelphia. As far as I’m concerned, that’s one of the most demanding tasks an athlete could face, as we have seen here over the last year.
Hurts was ranked outside of the top 40 quarterbacks according to some folks in the media before this season. I didn’t care then, and I certainly don’t care now. I just felt like bringing it up. It symbolizes the core values here in Philadelphia. That’s being the underdog and proving everyone wrong. Hurts has been doing that his entire life.
Philly is essentially the home of the “ankle-breaker” in sports. Allen Iverson, Lesean Mccoy, Jalen Hurts. Need I say more? On top of Hurt’s intangibles, this dude is a highlight reel at the quarterback position.
To conclude, I just want to say this is too much fun. Regardless of how you feel about Hurts, at least we have a drama-free football team that is all of a sudden in the playoff hunt.
I just don’t see what there is to complain about. Things are only trending upwards for the Eagles.
