Jalen Hurts out against Jets, Garnder Minshew to make first start for Eagles

Devastating news for the Philadelphia Eagles, who will be without Jalen Hurts tomorrow, according to Derrick Gunn. Alongside Hurts, Boston Scott is still questionable and will be a game-time decision. Gunn is extremely reliable, so it’s definite Garnder Minshew will make his first start tomorrow afternoon.

Jalen Hurts injured his ankle against the Giants but reassured the media that he would play through it this Sunday. Nick Sirianni had been preparing Minshew, and Hurts’ availability looked worse as the week progressed.

It’ll be tough for the Eagles to be without Jalen Hurts, but it’s an opportunity to examine Minshew and Sirianni’s coaching of another quarterback. Philadelphia will also be without Jordan Howard, who continues to battle his knee injury. Kick-off is scheduled for 1:00 tomorrow.
