Pro Bowl Update: Jason Kelce leads all NFC centers in fan votes

Jason Kelce continues to prove he is among the best centers in the NFL. Earlier today, the updated fan votes for the 2022 Pro Bowl were released, and Kelce is projected to be starting for the NFC. The Eagles’ center has over 98,000 votes so far, with the rosters announced this Wednesday on NFL Network.
Each NFL team is given at least one nomination, and it’s possible Kelce will make the cut for the Eagles. If selected, it will be Kelce’s third-straight appearance, and fifth Pro Bowl over his 11-year career. Last season, he set the record for most Pro Bowl appearances by an Eagles center with four.
At 34-years-old, Kelce has shown no signs of slowing down and has been the backbone of the Eagles’ offensive line. Through 14 games, he ranks third among all centers with a PFF grade of 84.7. He has only allowed one sack and zero quarterback hits over 462 passing plays.
Kelce is the only Eagles player leading in votes at their position, but some of his teammates could be joining him in Las Vegas. Darius Slay, Jordan Mailata, and Lane Johnson are some of the other potential nominees, but we will know for sure until Wednesday. For the rest of the NFC East, Dallas leads the division with three starters, while Washington has two, and New York has none.
It has been an excellent season for Kelce both on and off the field. A few weeks ago, the Eagles announced him as their 2021 Walter Payton Man of the Year candidate for his charitable work off the field. Hopefully, Kelce can bring home both of these honors, considering it might be his final season in the NFL.
