Meek Mill gets ball stolen by Dixie D’Amelio, then crossed over by a little kid before Sixers game

Last week, the Philadelphia 76ers let the D’Amelio family attend the Miami Heat game at the Wells Fargo Center. The TikTok girls rang the bell before the game and the 76ers lost to a G League version of Miami. It was a miserable night from pregame to postgame.
On that same night, Meek Mill, Michael Rubin, Elton Brand, and other big name figures in Philadelphia hosted kids from around the city as a part of a REFORM Alliance initiative.
Meek Mill also just wrapped up his annual toy drive in the city yesterday. It’s hard to bash him because of all the work he does in our community and for the city of Philadelphia, but unfortunately we’re going to have to give him some shit today.
There was a video posted on Michael Rubin’s instagram showing Meek Mill pregame playing basketball with one of the D’Amelio sisters and a few kids he was hosting for the night at the game.
Here’s the video:
First, he gets robbed by Dixie D’Amelio, then when a kid scoops up the loose ball, he crosses Meek over in what can only be described as Allen Iverson on Michael Jordan. The only difference is that Meek did not resemble Jordan at all, and ended up falling over, looking like a fool in the process.
Tough look for Meek Mill. We can’t be having our only “celebrity” 76ers fan out there getting embarrassed by TikTok girls and little kids.
Of course, I’m just talking shit. Like I said, Meek does so much for the city of Philadelphia and should be recognized for all of the charitable events he does to help his community. Maybe just mix some time on the basketball court if you’re going to be hooping pregame at the Sixers.
