Pick Tracker: Eagles’ selections plummet after Dolphins win 7th straight

The Philadelphia Eagles’ draft capital continues to take a hit. Last night, the Dolphins took down the New Orleans Saints 20-3, securing the 7th seed in the AFC playoffs. With that win, all three of the Eagles’ first round draft picks are in the playoffs, pushing their selections to the end of the first round.
As of today, the Eagles have the 19th, 20th, and 23rd picks in the NFL Draft. Having three picks in the first is still good no matter what, but it’s a significant fall from where they were initially projected. At one point, all three were expected to be within the top ten, but the Dolphins and Eagles went on tremendous runs, with the Dolphins winning seven straight after starting the year just 1-7.
Carson Wentz has almost certainly eclipsed the 75% offensive snaps needed this season for the Colts’ selection to convey. Indy controls a wildcard spot and is just one game behind the 10-5 Tennessee Titans.
This weekend, the Eagles can clinch a playoff berth with wins from Green Bay and San Francisco alongside themselves. Their selection will be no lower than the 19th pick if that occurs. It’s likely all three teams make the playoffs at this point, with no chance any of them fall back into the top 15.
Philadelphia faces Washington and Dallas to end their season while Miami goes up against the Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots. The Colts host the Las Vegas Raiders before traveling to Jacksonville to battle the Jaguars.
