Eagles activate Jason Kelce from Reserve/COVID-19 list

After testing positive earlier this week, the Eagles have activated Jason Kelce from the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Last Monday, the Eagles placed 12 players on the COVID list, including Fletcher Cox, Dallas Goedert, and several other starters. The league requires a five-day quarantine, so it’s likely we’ll see additional players activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list today and tomorrow.
Nick Sirianni stated yesterday that all 12 players were ready to go for this weekend, even though they weren’t with the team.
The Eagles’ Week 18 matchup is meaningless to their season, so it would make sense to rest the remaining COVID players out of precaution. There’s no reason for them to play, so why rush them back if they aren’t needed?
Sirianni said the team was “still discussing” benching their starters this weekend and has yet to give an answer. Philadelphia only listed three players on their status report for Saturday’s game, so the likely outcome is a preseason-type game.
Let the starters play for a quarter and move to the backups after a few drives.
Since Kelce was activated immediately, expect him to play this weekend. Landon Dickerson is questionable, and Nate Herbig is still on the Reserve/COVID list still, so there’s no healthy center on the roster outside of Kelce.
