Jonathan Gannon lands himself yet another head coaching interview

Before we get into details, I would like to make it clear that I think Jonathan Gannon would be a magnificent head coach for any team in the National Football League. The entire city of Philadelphia would be heartbroken if he left the Eagles organization after such a solid year as Defensive Coordinator for the team.
Jonathan Gannon Head Coaching Interview Count Now at Three
Last week, the Denver Broncos requested an interview with Gannon for their head coaching job. Gannon worked with current GM of the Denver Broncos during their time together in Minnesota.
From there, the Minnesota Vikings came calling after they fired head coach Mike Zimmer, who missed the playoffs for the third time in the past four seasons. As I mentioned, Gannon spent four years with the Vikings as an assistant defensive backs coach before moving to the Indianapolis Colts in 2018.
As of today, another team has entered the ring requesting an interview. The Houston Texans have now requested permission to interview the Eagles’ defensive coordinator.
As Schefty recapped in the tweet above, three teams are now looking to interview Gannon. Hopefully one of the three will realize how great Gannon is and take him from Philadelphia.
I mean come on, did you see how Gannon made Brady work yesterday? Talk about a coach that can make adjustments leading into the playoffs. Brady only completed 29-of-37 pass attempts yesterday for 271 yards and two touchdowns while posting a QB Rating of 115.2 while the Bucs absolutely destroyed the Eagles yesterday.
Obviously I was being sarcastic. I hope Gannon finds himself a new job as quickly as possible. Go Birds.
