Howie Roseman, Nick Sirianni, spotted scouting Kenny Pickett at 2022 Senior Bowl

The Quarterback factory continues? Earlier today, Howie Roseman and Nick Sirianni were spotted watching numerous quarterbacks work out during their Senior Bowl practice. Coaches across the league came to scout first-round prospect Kenny Pickett alongside Cincinnati’s Desmond Ridder and Nevada’s Carson Strong.
Pickett took the football world by storm during the second half of the CFB season and is projected to be a top-ten pick in the 2022 Draft.
The Pittsburgh QB is from New Jersey and grew up an avid Eagles fan, and even attended their game against Washington in December. Philadelphia has shown interest as Roseman was spotted scouting Pickett first-hand during Pitt’s game against Ole Miss earlier this season.
Strong and Ridder are considered mid-round picks in what’s expected to be a weak QB class. Pickett is highly valued but has a lot of faults and hasn’t shown much of an improvement over Jalen Hurts.
Just because the Eagles were spotted scouting the quarterback doesn’t mean they’re eyeing him. Almost every NFL head coach and GM is in attendance, and it would be even more concerning if Roseman and Sirianni didn’t do their due diligence.
Philadelphia has three first-round picks in the 2022 draft, and it’s doubtful they’ll hold onto them all. A trade could occur by trading back in exchange for a 2023 first, or the Eagles could push their chips in for an established QB like Russell Wilson or Aaron Rodgers.
