Kevin Durant likes Instagram post from The Score about Harden facing public backlash if he requests a trade to 76ers

There are four hours left until the NBA Trade Deadline. We have updates coming from every corner of the internet about what the Philadelphia 76ers will do before 3PM in regards to Ben Simmons and the Brooklyn Nets’ James Harden.
Much like anything in the media, it’s really hard to find credible reports about ANYTHING that’s happening in the world. So of course, it’s time to turn to Instagram and NBA player activity to find some answers on what the hell is happening.
Today, The Score (the best sports app out there, sorry ESPN) posted what Woj said this morning about Harden wanting to be traded to the Philadelphia 76ers, but hasn’t formally requested a trade due to concerns over public backlash.
Harden just forced his way out of Houston (rightfully so) and now, reportedly finds himself in another situation where he wants out of Brooklyn. Over the past few weeks, it has been said that Kevin Durant and basically everyone in the Nets’ organization wants Harden to remain in Brooklyn.
According to a simple “like” on Instagram, KD hasn’t changed his stance on the situation.

I would be pissed too if I was Kevin Durant, the second best basketball player on the planet behind Joel Embiid, if one of my teammates wanted to leave to join a rival team in the Eastern Conference. He’s already dealing with Kyrie Irving and now is in jeopardy of losing James Harden too.
While I would be pissed, this is the Brooklyn Nets we’re talking about, so I really don’t care that much. I hope their entire organization burns to the ground while the 76ers land Harden on their way to the NBA Finals.
If Durant thinks Kyrie Irving and James Harden are difficult to deal with, just wait until Ben Simmons arrives in Brooklyn. KD won’t even be able to speak to Simmons without the threat of him refusing to play or shoot the basketball.
At the end of the day, regardless of what happens, it looks like Durant is in a lose-lose situation. Harden leaves, you’re stuck with Irving and Simmons. Harden stays, you’re stuck with Irving and an upset Harden.
Not exactly an ideal situation for the second best basketball player in the world.
Four hours remaining.
