Bryce Harper to be featured on the cover of MLB Tap Sports Baseball 2022

With Major League Baseball still in full lockdown, we’ve come to the point of writing about Tap Sports Baseball, a baseball game for mobile devices. But nonetheless, here we are. After his dominant 2021 season, National League MVP Bryce Harper will be taking the cover of Tap Sports Baseball 2022.
Bryce Harper slashed .309/.429/.615 throughout his 2021 campaign, crushing 35 HRs, 84 RBIs, 151 hits, all good for an OPS of 1.044. Harper was the backbone of a struggling Phillies team and posted an offensive WAR of 5.6.
The 2021 season was the best of Harper’s tenure with the Phillies, where he took home the second Most Valuable Player Award of his career and was the first Phillies player to win the award since Jimmy Rollins in 2007. Harper also took home the Hank Aaron Award, the Silver Slugger Award, and the Musial Award for “Outstanding Sportsmanship”.
Harper will highlight the cover of the popular iPhone game in 2022, following Ronald Acuna Jr and Juan Soto, the two cover athletes for 2021. Harper is no stranger to video game covers, as he was most previously featured on the cover of MLB The Show 19. Tap Sports was created before the 2020 season and has gained an immense amount of popularity over that short span.
Here are a few of the past players that were featured on Tap Sports Baseball.
- Bryce Harper (2022)
- Ronald Acuna Jr / Juan Soto (2021)
- Aaron Judge (2020)
I’d be lying to you if I said I didn’t play Tap Sports Baseball. It’s a fun game, and you should play it too. Download the app here, and get ready to see Bryce Harper highlight the newest season of Tap Sports Baseball 2022.
