James Harden made fun of Joel Embiid on Twitter after a bad performance last night against the Cavaliers

The Philadelphia 76ers pulled off an impressive comeback win last night in South Philly over the Cleveland Cavaliers. After being down 21 points early in the game, the Tyrese Maxey-led 76ers ended up winning the game 125-119 to remain perfect in the James Harden era of Sixers basketball.
Maxey led the way with 33 points on 10-15 shooting, while going 5-for-6 from three point range.
After the game, James Harden took to Twitter to joke with Embiid and Maxey given the fact that Embiid ended the night with only 22 points. The entire game as a while wasn’t the best performance by the Sixers but still, even the bad games look good these days.
“When your lil bro finally beat you in 21”
Good to see James Harden building that locker room chemistry with the rest of the Sixers team. At halftime against the Knicks last Wednesday night, Harden questioned if Maxey wanted to play basketball, after he only managed to score four points at the midway point of the game.
Maxey responded by scoring 21 points in the second half and the Sixers beat the Knicks 123-108.
Throughout the season we have seen countless examples of Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey clowning on each other after games and to have Harden, just four games in, joining them is a beautiful sight to see.
- Joel Embiid to Tyrese Maxey: You were trash tonight
- Joel Embiid to Tyrese Maxey: That’s how you respond to criticism
- Joel Embiid to Matisse Thybulle: Shoot more threes
The Philadelphia 76ers are now in second place in the Eastern Conference, a game ahead of the third place Milwaukee Bucks, and two games behind the East-leading Miami Heat, who they will face tonight on the second leg of a back-to-back in South Beach.
