LeSean McCoy and Jason Peters reunite at card show in Philadelphia

Over the weekend, two Eagles legends were reunited at The Philly Show, a sports memorabilia convention in King of Prussia. Recently retired running back LeSean McCoy ran into former Eagles left tackle Jason Peters, at the event.
Shady was pumped to run into the bodyguard, quickly hugging him and exclaiming it was a “guaranteed 600 yards every year.” It’s great to see these two reunite after several years, having played six seasons together in Philly from 2009 to 2014.
Peters looked great while McCoy seemed to have packed on some pounds, but honestly, who can blame him? NFL Players have insane diets and he’s a recently retired millionaire enjoying life. Seeing these two together has made me feel old for the first time in my life. Growing up watching these guys, it’s weird to see them so close to the end of their careers.
Early in the 2021 season, McCoy officially retired as an Eagle, finishing his career as one of the best running backs in franchise history. Meanwhile, Peters is still going strong at 39-years-old, starting for the entire season in Chicago.
It’s unknown if Peters will play another season in the league, but he has shown he’s capable of still starting in the NFL after 17 seasons.
