Former first-round pick Jalen Reagor has struggled to find his footing since entering the league in 2020.

The Eagles have tried to use the TCU standout in various ways, but nothing has seemed to stick. It doesn’t help that Reagor has constantly been compared to Minnesota WR Justin Jefferson, who was selected one pick after Reagor in the 2020 draft. The Vikings wideout dominated the NFL this year, recording over 1,600 yards and ten touchdowns.

With just 299 yards receiving last season, Reagor could very well be on his way to a new team. ESPN’s Tim McManus wrote this week that Philadelphia could potentially look to move Reagor in the coming months:

“There’s a chance Reagor is traded this offseason to give him what feels like a much-needed fresh start. But the Eagles aren’t just going to give an athletically gifted 23-year-old player away. It’s to be determined whether a team steps up and offers what Philadelphia would deem appropriate compensation.”

During the Eagles’ exit interview in January, Sirianni stated that they want more production from Reagor but the team still likes him as part of the offense moving forward:

Nick Sirianni on Jalen Reagor: “We want more production from him. We like him in that WR3 spot. He has to make the plays.”

Says Quez Watkins can be one of the best WR2’s in the NFL and that he didn’t get as many targets as he deserves.

Regardless of Reagor’s future, the Eagles need to add more WR talent in the offseason. DJ Chark and JuJu Smith-Schuster have been mentioned as free agent targets for Philadelphia, while Treylon Burks is getting some hype as the top receiver in the draft.

Whatever GM Howie Roseman decides to do, one thing is for certain — Jalen Hurts could use another dynamic option alongside DeVonta Smith in what may be his final chance to win over the franchise.
