The Masked Singer finally revealed that Thingamabob was indeed Eagles’ left tackle Jordan Mailata. During this week’s episode, Mailata sang Classic by MKTO. Like every other performance, he did an incredible job but somehow found himself on the chopping block.

Briefly listening to the other contestants, I’m honestly baffled that Mailata was not voted to make the finals. Following his elimination, the judges then sat and debated on who he could be, and all picked horrible guesses.

During last week’s episode, Mailata sang a rendition of Perfect by Ed Sheeran, which brought judge Ken Jeong to tears. The week before, he sang Wanted Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi.

Most of the NFL world was shocked to see it was, in fact, Mailata when we saw it clear as day several weeks ago. The hints given out, including multiple Eagles, numerous football innuendos, and hints to his rugby days alongside the thick Australian accent, gave it away.

It’s a shame that he didn’t win, but at least Jordan Mailata is now one of the most popular players in the league currently after showcasing his singing talents.
