Eagles host top QB prospect on a pre-draft visit

With the NFL Draft kicking off later this month, the Philadelphia Eagles have brought in several prospects on pre-draft visits. Some of the top names have included Tyler Smith, Kayvon Thibodeaux, and Sauce Gardner.
During a recent appearance on the Rich Eisen Show, Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral revealed he also had a top-30 visit with the Eagles. This news follows Howie Roseman once again, reaffirming that they’re sticking with Jalen Hurts this season.
“I remember visiting the Eagles’ facility. I remember just being in awe of going there. That was a pretty cool, fun experience.”
Corral was initially projected to be the best quarterback in this draft, but a late-season injury combined with the surge of Kenny Pickett now has him projected as a late first-rounder at best.
Earlier this week, the Eagles completed a blockbuster deal with the New Orleans Saints, sending one of their current firsts for a future first-rounder in a massive deal. Following that move, it’s doubtful they’ll use one of their two remaining top picks on a QB, but another Jalen Hurts-esque selection is possible.
