Series Finale: Will the Phillies show any heart tonight?
The Phillies dropped last night’s series opener to the Texas Rangers by a final score of 6-4. Poor defense and careless hitting took the spotlight Tuesday, as the Phillies now look to split the two game series tonight.
Bryce Harper went 0-4 at the plate with two strikeouts. Kyle Schwarber went 0-5 with two more strikeouts. Alec Bohm, JT Realmuto, Didi Gregorius, and Matt Vierling led the way with two hits each, but it still wouldn’t be enough in the end.
