Liam Castellanos, protector of Citizens Bank Park, aided the Phillies to a walk-off win today against the Miami Marlins

Liam Castellanos, son of Phillies baseball-masher Nick, has become a fixture at Citizens Bank Park this season. First, he established himself as a folk hero by taking a foul ball to the dome while cheering on his pops.
Now, he’s once again made his mark, using a reflective baseball card to distract an opposing pitcher in a high leverage situation.
The result of his efforts? A Phillies walk-off win over the Marlins. As such, he has earned a new title amongst the ranks of The Liberty Line and Phillies fans across the city.
Behold Liam Castellanos, Protector of the Realm:
Nothing much better than that, folks.
Most sons of MLB players would sit in the stands, soak in the sun, and enjoy the limelight. Not Liam Castellanos. He may be up in the bleachers, but he’s doing everything he can to help his team win.
His presence has created what could very well be the best home-field advantage in Major League Baseball. I know it’s only June, but if the kid keeps this up, we may have a 2017 Astros-level ace in the hole.
You may question if his actions really had an effect, but I’m going the route of blind faith on this one. He is our protector. Bask in the glow of his baseball cards and rejoice.
It’s going to be a fun summer at The Bank.
