Flyers re-sign 2017 second round draft pick Isaac Ratcliffe to a new contract
The Philadelphia Flyers have re-signed winger Isaac Ratcliffe to a one-year, two-way, $813,750 contract.
The 6’6” 2017 second round draft pick played 10 games in the NHL last season, tallying one goal, three assists, and a minus-1 mark. Ratcliffe notched 14 shots, 16 hits, and eight blocked shots in roughly 11 minutes per game, mostly featured on the fourth line for the Flyers.
The majority of playing time Ratcliffe got last year was with AHL affiliate Lehigh Valley, where he recorded 11 goals and 17 assists. This year, he’ll look to earn a roster spot under Flyers new head coach John Tortorella.
The Flyers re-signed restricted free agent Morgan Frost last week, with players like Owen Tippett, Zach MacEwen, and Wade Allison all looking for new deals as restricted free agents before the start of the season.
