Two Phillies prospects named to the DSL All-Star Team

Phillies prospects Jesus Querales and Jorge Garcia have been named to the Dominican Summer League All-Star Team, along with DSL Red Manager Nerluis Martinez.
Querales, 19, is a right-handed reliever on the Phillies DSL Red team. He’s thrown 10 games out of the bullpen this season, holding just a 0.66 ERA in 13.2 innings. He’s allowed just 1 earned run while striking out 17 batters and holds a 0.951 WHIP.
Jorge Garcia is slashing .314/.435/.440 in 30 games this season with 1 HR and 21 RBIs. He’s tacked on 31 hits and 18 runs scored in 91 at-bats while posting a perfect fielding percentage in the outfield throughout 24 games in the grass.

The Phillies White squad holds a 20-11 record on the year and is currently riding a 6-game winning streak (8-2 L10). Phillies Red sits at 20-12 on the year and is 6-4 in their last 10 games. The All-Star Game is set to take place on July 31st.
