Washington Commanders training camp was BUZZING this week, putting the entire NFC East on notice

NFL training camp kicked off around the league this week with all 32 teams taking the practice field to prepare for the 2022 season.
Honestly, I’m not a big fan of training camp or the NFL preseason and I’m beyond happy that Nick Sirianni agrees with me by running practices that barely las an hour. Still, there are football fans across America itching to get their NFL fix by attending training camp to get an early look at their favorite NFL team heading into the 2022 season.
All the talk on the national media level is how much better the Eagles will be this season. Ryan Clark couldn’t contain himself a few days ago on ESPN, gushing over the offseason additions the birds made while picking them to beat out the Dallas Cowboys for the NFC East title.
Steve Mariucci has already claimed Jalen Hurts a franchise quarterback, and the vibes are at an all time high as we enter the summer month of August.

I am slightly concerned on what’s happening down in Washington DC with the Commanders. Daniel Snyder runs a beautiful football organization and they now have their franchise quarterback in Carson Wentz to lead the new-look, new-named Commanders to the promise land.
After seeing photos circulating online with pictures from Commanders camp, I’m not sure how any other team in NFC will be able to compete with this hungry fanbase, itching to see Wentz and the boys take the field.
Washington Commanders Training Camp
Oh, well, never mind. This is embarrassing.
What a pathetic display of fandom for one of the most pathetic professional sports franchises ever.
There’s no way that players don’t notice the fact that literally no one showed up to check out the team as training camp started. While other teams have packed facilities, the Commanders appear to have maybe 4 or 5 fans come out to get a glimpse of camp.
The even more disgusting part about the post-apocalyptic seen at Commanders camp has to be the video release of Carson Wentz signing autographs for a group of kids while yet another older gentlemen is acting like a total creep.
Did that guy just ask for Wentz’s wedding band? Jesus Christ. That has to be the weirdest request ever. At first, I thought he asked Wentz to sign HIS wedding band but upon further review, he wanted the one that Wentz was wearing, claiming that it wasn’t even his real one.
Wentz obviously ignored him and went back to signing autographs for the kids, who seem to have no idea who Carson Wentz is and were just overall disinterested in being there.
Although the request was a weird one and someone should have called the cops to escort that guy of the premises, I think Wentz actually made a mistake on this one.
Read the room, Carson, there are ZERO FANS out there. Give that pathetic soul your wedding band and make his day. You’re not really in the position to turn away fans these days bud. Big mistake.
