Pilot threatens to end flight due to nude pictures being sent to unwilling passengers via AirDrop

Earlier this week, the pilot of a Southwest Airlines flight threatened to cancel takeoff after someone on the plane sent a naked photograph to other passengers.
Pilot Nude AirDrop Threat
“So here’s the deal, if this continues while we’re on the ground, I’m going to have to pull back to the gate, everybody’s going to have to get off, we’re going to have to get security involved and [your] vacation is going to be ruined,”
“So you folks, whatever that AirDrop thing is, quit sending naked pictures, and let’s get yourself to Cabo,”
Okay first of all, if you’re on a plane and someone is airdropping you nudes, that’s a major problem. How big of a creep can someone be? Imagine the mindset of someone who is stuck on an airplane in close quarters and still thinking it was a good idea to start airdropping nudes to other passengers.
That type of behavior should be criminal.
I saw other media outlets saying that “receiving unwanted skin pics while on an airplane has unfortunately become a part of the traveling experience”
Ummmm no? I really don’t think that’s the case, New York Post. At least it shouldn’t be…
If I was the captain, would I threaten to turn the plane around? Nah buddy, I would have stopped that airplane completely and got the cops on board to track down whatever pervert was airdropping nudes. Fuck that.
Never Reply to AirDrops
It’s happened before. In June, a male passenger on a Southwest flight AirDropped a sexually explicit photo to his fellow flyers. Upon landing, police escorted the man off the aircraft. Those types of people shouldn’t be allowed to ride a bus let alone travel on an airplane. Christ Almighty.
I do have to admit, the last time I was on an airplane someone airdropped me maybe two or three Harry Styles TikTok videos and I responded to each one with pictures of my dog. I got caught up in the game real fast and then snapped out of it, realizing how weird it must be if I’m airdropping someone pictures of my dog like I’m some type of creep on the plane.
Of course, I thought it was just funny but could you imagine if someones parent came up to me on that plane and asked why I was airdropping photos of my dog in response to Harry Styles TikToks to their kids? That would have been fucking horrible.
Still, I always leave my airdrop doors wide open. You can send me whatever the hell you want, I really don’t care. However, I will never reply again and if you ruin my vacation over it, I’ll probably be a bit upset.
