Watch: Ben Simmons gets booed in New York at the US Open
Well, it turns out that even in New York City, Ben Simmons is still getting booed for being a total loser.
New videos surfaced with Ben Simmons attending the US Open tonight in New York City. Unfortunately for Simmons, even in the city he currently “plays” basketball for, people still don’t really like him and he received a warm welcome of boos tonight when his dumb face appeared on the Jumbotron.

Listen, if you’re dressed like a clown and think you’re hot shit, then you deserved to get booed.
But why is New York booing Ben Simmons?
Well, it’s pretty obvious actually. Simmons refused to play basketball all of last season and even when the team needed him the most in the playoffs, Simmons was no where to be found. Additional reports came out a few months ago stating that he actually left the team’s group chat when asked if he wanted to play.
Other reports came out stating that Kevin Durant was disgusted with Simmons and how soft he was because of it, which is absolutely hilarious. If I was in New York and was a Nets fan, I would be VERY careful booing Ben Simmons when he makes public appearances.
Here in Philadelphia, we know very well that he can’t handle an ounce of criticism and will go run and hide at the first sight of adversity. Tread lightly, New York.
