Sixers’ Big 3 has best 2K23 ratings

The Sixers looked to be in good shape as NBA 2K23 ratings slowly trickled out last week. Now, with every player rating revealed, it seems our best players have set themselves apart from the rest of the league.

The Sixers have the best Big 3 in 2K23:

Sixers 2K23 ratings

Tyrese Maxey – 85 (2K22: 76)

Maxey had a huge jump in his rating this year, and rightfully so. His massive playoff performances served as one of the few highlights of the 2022 playoffs for 76ers fans.

His 85 rating for 3pt-shooting – on par with James Harden – is bound to go up this season. Stay tuned, the day of reckoning will come.

James Harden – 89 (2K22: 94)

Harden’s rating took a hit, and for a good reason. My dude looked horrendous for large portions of last season.

I’m as big a fan of The Beard as anybody, but he will have to earn those rating points back. That said, fans should be confident that an entire off-season of working out and rehabbing that hamstring will lead to better, more consistent play on the court.

It’s a shame there’s no rating boost for taking a team-friendly deal. I’ll award Harden +2 to make him an unofficial 91 overall.

Embiid – 96 (2K22: 95)

Of course, last but not least is Joel “The Process” Embiid. His 96 rating has him behind only Giannis Antetokounmpo (97) and tied with the likes of Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Steph Curry, and sigh Nikola Jokic.

Does the homer in me think it’s far too low? Absolutely. But in all seriousness, it’s a fair rating for the two-time MVP runner-up, though I expect his rating to climb as well as he continues to dominate the NBA.

Perhaps the funniest thing about this is the Sixers’ highest-paid player, Tobias Harris, is not rated in the top 3. What a time to be alive.

Very real and legitimate journalist. I don't see a loss on the schedule.
