The Fightins sent Bailey Falter to the mound last night to face the National League Cy Young front-runner Sandy Alcantara and walked away with a 2-1 victory.
Alcantara currently is listed at -175 and the favorite to win the NL Cy Young, with Max Fried of the Atlanta Braves in second place at +650. Luckily for the Philadelphia Phillies, Sandy Alcantara hasn’t found much success against them this season. Alcantara has a 1-3 record with a 3.16 ERA in six appearances against the Fightins this season.

Stick with me here for a second. Put Stott at shortstop and Nick Maton at second base. Let Jean Segura walk and focus on bringing in another outfielder and more pitching. Give the kids a chance. They proved it this season and an infield with Hoskins, Maton, Stott, and Bohm sounds fantastic.
