Brandon Graham Defensive Player of the Week

Brandon Graham is your NFC Defensive Player of the Week

Brandon Graham has won NFC Defensive Player of the Week after a dominant performance against the Washington Commanders last Sunday.

Graham takes the award after posting six tackles, 2.5 sacks, two tackles for loss, a pass defensed, and a forced fumble in the Philadelphia Eagles 24-8 win over the Washington Commanders on Sunday.

Graham was dominant on Sunday and honestly, it was expected for him to take home NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors, just a week after Darius Slay took home the award after completely shutting down Justin Jefferson in Week 2’s matchup on against the Vikings on Monday Night Football.

Jalen Hurts Snub?

I was also expecting Jalen Hurts to take home NFC Offensive Player of the Week after Sunday’s win, but that went to Atlanta Falcons running back after he ran for a career high 141 yards on 17 carries and a touchdown in their 27-23 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

On the other hand, Hurts completed 22-of-25 passes for 340 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing nine times for 20 yards.

Oh, and DeVonta Smith…?

Maybe I’m bias, but I’d take Hurts or Smitty’s performance over Patterson’s every single week.

On the AFC side, the Offensive Player of the Week award went to the quarterback who Hurts and the Eagles will be facing this Sunday, Trevor Lawrence.

Lawrence earned his first player of the week award thanks to a strong performance and surprise win for the Jaguars over the Los Angeles Charges, where he matched a career-high with three touchdown passes, on 28-of-39 passes and 262 yards.

unfiltered, opinionated, and certainly do not care if you like it or not.
