WATCH: DeVonta Smith really didn’t like the weather on Sunday

The Philadelphia Eagles hosted the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday in the middle of one of the worst rain storms that I personally ever sat through at a sporting event.
As it turns out that DeVonta Smith, like many of us, absolutely hates cold, rainy weather. Smitty, an Alabama alumni hailing from the great state of Louisiana was have a rough time dealing with the weather on Sunday.

That’s the great thing about DeVonta Smith. He’s just a naturally funny guy even when he’s not trying to be. I want him mic’d up from November until the end of the season (Super Bowl) when the weather gets really cold. He went from making makeshift hat out of a Gatorade towel, to complaining about his soggy Eagles beanie, all while dropping pass after pass due to the cold, rainy conditions.
To be clear, DeVonta Smith never drops passes. That’s how you know the weather was bothering him.
Luckily for Smitty and the Eagles, they’ll be traveling to Arizona this weekend to face the Cardinals. The Liberty Line crew will also be heading to Phoenix with Phans of Philly. Hit us up and we’ll crush some beers in Scottsdale.
I was down at the Linc on Sunday and it was pretty miserable. I had a poncho on and still somehow ended up drenched head to toe. To make matters worse, we lost the keys to our RV (shoutout F2 parking lot) and had to Uber our asses back to Delco after the game. From there, a tow truck wasn’t even able to get it out of there since cars ended up parking all around it.
So basically, we had to get a locksmith to go down to F2 and replace the entire steering wheel so we could have fresh keys. It is now going to be driven out of the lot after the Philadelphia 76ers preseason game wraps up later tonight.
Point being, Sunday was miserable. Anyone in attendance knew that. DeVonta Smith knew too.
