Duck (actually a goose) chills on field during Dodgers vs Padres Game 2, gets ‘escorted off’ by terrible grounds crew

We’re coming in for a landing, folks. A rogue duck (which was later identified as a goose) decided to touch down on the field of Dodger Stadium and take in the bottom of the 8th inning as the home team attempted to mount a comeback.
Dodger fans knew they had a rally duck (goose) in the building tonight:
This has already become one of the most iconic animal visitors to a professional sports field. Many will remember the cat at Cowboys vs Giants all those years ago, but this guy is hot on its tail.
Sadly, the bird’s presence, as chill as it was, was unable to spur the Dodgers onto a comeback. However, I would stay away from blaming the fowl, as the stadium’s grounds crew killed the good juju by tossing it into a trash can.
That’s a totally ludicrous way to treat the one thing in this world that could actually make a difference in the game. It didn’t matter who was on the mound or at the plate, the bird would have been the needle-mover.
Instead, the Dodgers decided to shoot themselves in the foot by spitting in the face of mother nature. As a result, they lost to the Padres.
Deal with it.
