Crybaby Marcus Smart on Embiid: “I could of cracked his head open, but I didn’t.”
The Boston Celtics smacked the Sixers around tonight, but the tears still flowed from known crybaby and troll doll wannabe Marcus Smart. He and Joel Embiid got into a bit of an altercation after getting tangled up in the paint.
Smart spoke on the incident in during post game media availability:
Give me a break.
Do I love the play? No. Was it anything worth fighting over? Absolutely not.
Marcus Smart needs to shut his Jalen Mills lookin’ ass up and move on with it. If I cracked someone’s head open every time they did something I didn’t like, I wouldn’t still be making alimony payments.*
The Boston Celtics better watch their mouth in general before I quit my job and assemble the next Spotlight team of reporters to blow the Ime Udoka story wide open. Just know that I’ll do it in a heartbeat.
Smart saying he “showed maturity” in that moment by not assaulting someone is a classic example of I think thou doth protest too much. Point being, if you ever need to call yourself mature, you’re likely not mature.
It’s like that girl that always comments on trying not to be a “pick me girl.” I hate to break it to her, but there’s 99% chance she’s told someone how much she “hates drama” or how girls “are just sooo much sometimes.”
I’ll never slander Marcus Smart as a player. He’s the definition of the guy you’d love to have on your team; he fits all of those clichés.
That being said, he should just take the W and go. I know the NBA is a soap opera and he was asked about it, but the fake tough guy act is really starting to get old.
ESPECIALLY after getting cooked like this on national TV:
To be fair, not just Smart who’s guilty of it either. You have one of my favorite players in Ja Morant telling Twitter trolls he’ll shoot him with hollow tip bullets when he grew up with a loving family and no history of violence.
But I have to write about it because Marcus Smart is a baby clown boy and gets clicks. I’m going to lose zero sleep over this game or this blog.
See, I have no reason to actually care about any of this because the Phillies up 1-0 in the NLCS, the Eagles are 6-0, the Flyers are 3-0 (?????), and Sixers basketball simply does not matter until Christmas.
