Wawa extends Schwarberfest promotion for World Series

The Phillies punched their ticket to the World Series for the first time since 2009 with a win for the ages over the Padres on Sunday and now in a no-brainer move, Wawa is extending their uber popular Schwarberfest hoagie promotion through the World Series.
This is an absolute no-brainer for Wawa. The ‘Schwarberfest‘ promotion that offers $6 classics and $5 shorti hoagies has to be one of the most successful marketing campaigns for the company in the past decade.
With all the drinking, dancing (on my own), and pole climbing set to be happening over the next two weeks as the Phillies upset the Astros in the World Series, it’s a godsend that Wawa will be selling cheap food to mix in with all the Natural Lite and Fireball in my stomach.
I have to admit, I usually don’t purchase my hoagies from Wawa, but with inflation raging and your hard-earned dollar getting you less than ever before, how can you pass up a deal like this?
A $6 classic meatball is also a great choice for a cost-effective projectile to launch at any potential Astros fans getting a little overconfident in a South Philly parking lot.
I kid, I kid, all you need to do is politely offer that Astros fan a classic meatball and i guarantee they will be in the nearest bathroom stall within 30 minutes. Stay away from the classic meatball at all costs!
Seriously, every Philadelphian knows this, even a relative newcomer to the city, in Eagles wideout Devonta Smith understands that you never choose the meatball sub.
