From the Top Rope: Jalen Hurts’ mom roasts Dan Orlovsky for his inconsistent QB takes on Twitter

A mother will always protect her children. It’s one of the many truths in life and it still applies even if the child is Jalen Hurts and a starting quarterback in the NFL.
ESPN NFL analyst and former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky is known for his QB takes. Good or bad, he always seems to have something to say about everything signal caller in the league. The irony in it all is that Orlovsky was a pretty terrible quarterback himself when he was in the league, posting a 2-10 record as a starter while tossing 15 touchdowns to 13 interceptions.
A lot of Twitter users have called Orlovsky out through the years, typically citing his terrible stat lines during his playing days. Pamela Hurts, Jalen Hurts’ mother, decided to get in on the action as well.
In a quote Tweet of a Tua Tagovailoa stat from CBS Sports, Orlovsky tried his hand at comedy
On its surface, this is a pretty harmless Tweet from Orlovsky. But given how often Orlovsky has bashed quarterbacks around the league, including Tua Tagovailoa, it’s a pretty tone deaf response from the ESPN analyst.
Then, out of nowhere, Mrs. Hurts came to Tua’s aid, firing off this Tweet in response to Orlovsky.
Jalen Hurts’ mom from the top rope
“The way you bash QB’s, you sure it wasn’t you? They all have been better than you were…”

Orlovsky has probably seen thousands of Tweets like this. Chances are, he didn’t even notice this one. Regardless, it’s still hilarious to see Jalen Hurts’ mom of all people tell Orlovsky the hard truth.
Hours after Mrs. Hurts hit send on her Tweet to Orlovsky, the ESPN pundit gloated about her son on Twitter, calling the Eagles quarterback the best decision maker in football.
Maybe this was Orlovsky’s way of apologizing to Jalen Hurts’ mom? Who knows, he never addressed the Tweet from Hurts’ mom directly.
Nevertheless, everyone and their mom (literally) has come after Orlovsky for his inconsistent QB takes now. You love to see it.
