New Eagles DE Robert Quinn has a chance to make NFL history in 2022

Newly acquired Eagles pass rusher Robert Quinn has a chance to etch his name in NFL history books this season.
Quinn has suited up for every game so far in 2022. Seven with his former team, the Chicago Bears, and one with the Eagles. Since Chicago dealt Quinn before their Week 14 bye and the Eagles had their bye week right before Quinn arrived, he could become the first player in NFL history to play in 18 regular season games.

There’s reason to believe the Eagles pass rusher can accomplish this feat
All Quinn has to do to accomplish this landmark is stay healthy.
The 32-year-old defensive end has done a great job staying healthy during the latter half of his NFL career. Since 2018, Quinn has only missed four out of a possible 73 games.
Even if the Eagles continue their winning ways and manage to lock up home field advantage before the final week of the season, I imagine Nick Sirianni will allow Quinn to play at least one snap in the regular season finale for history’s sake.
I’m sure Quinn isn’t even concerned with this record, in all honesty. He just wants to win and rack up sacks on opposing quarterbacks. There’s no doubt he’ll be doing a lot of that for the remainder of the 2022 season.
